Frequently Asked Questions

Most travellers shall be issued entry-visa upon their arrival. For further information, please directly contact the Immigration Police Unit at the Phnom Penh Airport International or the Siem Reap Airport. Some countries where the Royal Embassies and Consulates of Cambodia installed, travellers shall then apply for an entry-visa prior to their departure. The weather in Cambodia in January is hot. The average temperatures are between 22°C and 33°C. You can expect a few rainy days in Cambodia during January, but usually the weather is comfortable in January.

Cambodia accepts US Dollars or the Cambodian Riel. The exchange rate is approximately 1 USD to 4,000 KHR and credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted at most good establishments.

Prepaid SIM Cards are readily available upon exiting the arrival area of the airport. It costs approximately US$10-17 for 1 week and US$20 for 2 weeks.
